Located in East Marion, New York, Lavender by the Bay has been growing the highest quality lavender on Long Island for more than 15 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets and crafts, and honey from our own beehives. In 2002, we expanded our company by purchasing 17 acres of farmland in East Marion, New York. We have planted twenty varieties of lavender across ten acres of farmland, yielding over 50,000 plants for cultivation.

The farm is open 7 days a week 9AM-5PM through the end of September. Due to the shortage of parking available we ask visitors to limit their stay in the fields to 30 minutes during the week and 20 minutes through weekends/holidays.  You must keep within the designated area and ask permission before entering the field.

Professional photographers or those interested in taking wedding photos should contact us directly ahead of time to schedule an appointment or to inquire about fees. Artists interested in painting the fields should also contact us ahead of time about making a midweek appointment.

Directions From NYC:

Take 495 East to Exit 71.
At ramp make a left onto Edwards Ave.
Travel approx. 3.5 miles.
Turn right onto Sound Ave. (CR48).
Stay on Sound Ave. for 25 miles.
After Greenport CR48 becomes NY25, Main Road.
We are 2 miles east of Greenport on the right side of the road.

From Orient Point Ferry:
Drive west for 6 miles. We are on the left side of the road.
